I was born here about well 40 years ago and I can say I started to get interested in my city only after I had seen others in Italy and abroad and have lived there. Genoa has a special charm that hides behind the classic image that many have and that you bring home, after a break of a few hours waiting for a ferry, Genoa's not.
In creating for you with my father our - your Home Holiday Apartments named Your Sweet Home (YSH), we tried as much as possible to put ourselves in the shoes of a traveler or traveler of all types, with children, without children, more or less practical, more or less young, more precise or less, more comfortable or less, more or less curious, to encompass all your needs, there is nothing more beautiful than being at home.

La proprietaria è l'host ideale, sempre puntuale, disponibile, gentile e solare! L'appartamento è nel centro storico a due passi dalla meravigliosa Cattedrale di San Lorenzo e dal Porto Antico. E' molto bello pulito, ordinato e accogliente, silenzioso e con cucina ben attrezzata :) Lo consiglio vivamente!
Lovely clean apartment right in the heart of Genoa. Racele met us and took us to the apartment. The apartment is lovely and clean with plenty of pots and pans for cooking if you want but with such a good selection of restaurants you don't need to cook. Short walk up the road from the port area with good restaurants . If you walk up the street it takes you to the cathedral. The owner was very helpful providing us with maps and advice where to visit and supplied us with a list of restaurants and trips which was very helpful. Would certainly recommend for a break in Genoa. Thank you.
Un appartamento davvero confortevole, con un'attenzione notevole da parte della proprietaria verso ogni richiesta ed esigenza. Tutto l'appartamento è stato ristrutturato ed è perfettamente funzionale, non ho mai avuto nessun problema di riscaldamento, acqua calda e connessione internet (wireless). Il palazzo è storico e in pienissimo centro a Genova, comodissimo per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione turistica e non. La disponibilità e gentilezza della proprietaria sono state davvero incomiabili e mi sento di consigliarlo caldamente.
The owner is amazing! Not only is her apartment located in a great spot, she provided details of the city and many attractions we could take in. In all the owner made our whole stay feel like we were staying with family. Thank you again
Nous avons passé une dizaine de jour à Gênes, cette ville peu connue mérite de si attarder. L'appartement est situé en plein centre historique, donc pas besoin de voiture pour accéder aux multiples sites â visiter. En ce qui concerne l'appartement celui ci est conforme aux photos. La propriétaire, très sympathique et accueillante, nous a donné tous les conseils nécessaires pour passer un excellent séjour! Je vous recommande cette location. Merci Rachele pour votre bonne humeur et votre disponibilité â bientôt j'espère.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement complétement refait à neuf (et très agréable) en plein coeur de Gênes. Accueil extrêmement sympathique, avec naturellement...une foccaccia. Rachele avait très bien préparé notre arrivée. Tout était bien indiqué, le parking réservé. Bref un lieu où nous reviendrons volontiers et que nous conseillons. Points importants de cette location: linge de maison fourni et ménage compris dans le prix final.
What a wonderful time we had. The owner is such a warm an welcoming host so friendly and helpful. I have been to Genova many times it is one of my favourite Italian cities and the appartment is in a wonderful location, ideal to walk eveywhere. The appartment is well thought out and equipped,very nicely decorated. it feels spacious and light. I was travelling with my young daughter but the appaetment could easily accommodated more people. I would highly recommend a stay with Rachelle and will certainly be back.
Merci à Rachèle pour sa communication, son accueil et sa disponibilité. Ses Informations nous ont été précieuses dès notre arrivée afin de faciliter notre installation. Le Parking en supplément (18€/jour) est très pratique et indispensable. Il se situe à un bon km du logement. S'organiser à l'arrivée pour les bagages car il n'est pas évident de trouver une place sur parking de proximité. Le logement est conforme à la description, très confortable et bien équipé. Un peu d'escaliers pour y accéder. Idéalement bien situé pour Découvrir Gênes à pieds! Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre passage et n'hésiterons pas à y revenir. Grazie Bises.

Rachele kümmert sich als Gastgeberin sehr persönlich und liebevoll um ihre Gäste und organisiert alles perfekt, bis hin zum Parkplatz fürs Auto, was in der Altstadt von Genua nicht ganz einfach ist. Sie war für uns jederzeit erreichbar und versorgte uns mit hilfreichen Tipps. Wir waren von der Gastfreundschaft und persönlichen Fürsorge sehr angetan und würden jederzeit wieder zu Rachele fahren

Viaggio eccellente e soprattutto una grande disponibilità della proprietaria nell' accoglierci e nel darci indicazioni utili anche al di fuori di mete turistiche. Appartamento nuovissimo, accogliente e arredato attentamente, dotato di tutto il necessario anche per chi ha bimbi piccoli. che dire di più...semplicemente soddisfatti.
Rachele is an amazing host. She is very welcoming, she replies very quickly to your text and she gives you a lot of information about the city and what you can/should do. Both appartment are modern and new. You will find everything you need for your stay. The localisation is perfect because everything is easily reachable by walking or with the public transport. I really recommend this appartment!
This is an excellent flat conveniently centred within the Old Town and a 5 minute walk to the Sea Front with the Marina etc. Flat is pretty much brand new with excellent Shower (even for someone who is basically 2 metres tall) and comfortable bed. All basic necessities are in the flat and you are a two minute walk to the Cathedral which is surrounded by decent cafes and Restaurants. The owner is an excellent host - meant us on time outside the Cathedral, took us to the flat and showed us where everything is and then had a recommendation pack covering Restaurants, Places to see in Genoa and recommendations if you wanted to visit villages/towns along the coast - all in all a great experience in an interesting city - Many thanks

The apartment is a modern gem on the second floor of a 500 year old building, located in the heart of Genova's historic center. It’s close to everything, nicely decorated, and is equipped with everything someone would need. Wifi runs perfectly, hot water available at all times, minimal & beautiful decoration, clean, even toys for children!!! On the days of our staying The owner was out of town so her father Sergio met with us. He speaks good English and explained everything needed for the apartment and the city. Nevertheless, Rachele was available on phone to answer our questions and recommend us places or local stores to visit!! In general we had 5 wonderful days in Genova staying at "Home Sweet Home". We will definitelly come again!!
